Subject Of Agreement

This agreement determines the rights & obligations of  the client & Rainbow Journeys, list & scope of transactions, key commercial conditions, terms of payment and cancellation & responsibilities of both the parties.

Wherein, FTO/FTA undertakes the responsibility to promote and market tours to India in its territory, with the aim to send tourists to India, through Rainbow Journeys. Rainbow journey undertakes the responsibility to provide ground handling services in India, to such tourists sent by FTO/FTA.  

Hotels

Rainbow Journeys acts in the capacity of an agent for Hotels. Our rates are based on the prevailing rates negotiated by us with hotels. Hotel prices are based on the meal plans as outlined in the final tour itinerary. Hotels retain the right to modify tariff/rates or terms & conditions at any time at their discretion. We will not be liable for any such changes made by the hotels

Meals

We will provide meals as indicated in each tour itinerary. We hold the right to alter/change the predetermined venue without prior notice.

Transfers / Sightseeing

  • Airport & Train station transfers include transport & the assistance of our Tour leader/ Representative.
  • Sightseeing tours/excursions include transport & services of local English speaking guide/ Tour Leader. Guides speaking other languages are available upon request and are subject to availability & additional charges.

Booking & Payment Policy

  • For confirming the tour with us you need to send us scanned copy of your ID proof.
  • We require our clients/FTO’s to settle payments as following:
    • Payment of 25% of the total tour cost confirms the tour.
    • Balance Payment to be settled at least 45 days prior to commencement of the tour, to ensure full and final payment is received by us.
  • Additional services contracted after final payment should be settled before the group/FIT leaves India.

Payment Procedure

  • You may remit payment to us through Wire Transfer / Bank Deposit / Online Payment Gateway (We’ll send you a link for this).
  • All Inward payments attract nominal bank charges. Please instruct your bank that you will bear the bank charge for sending & receiving bank, to ensure that payment is received against 100% invoice value.
  • It takes 5-8 working days for international inward payments to clear. Please allow sufficient time for remittance to appear in our bank records.

Cancellation policy

In the unfortunate event that the client cancels a tour with us, we must be notified of the same in writing. The client may be liable to pay cancellation charges, depending on the time they cancel the tour:

  • 60 days prior to tour starts: Non-refundable deposit*, if any.
  • 59 – 45 Days, prior to tour starts:                    Non-refundable deposit* + 10% of the remaining tour cost.
  • 44 – 30 Days, prior to tour starts:                   Non-refundable deposit* + 20% of the remaining tour cost.
  • 29 – 15 Days, prior to tour starts:                   Non-refundable deposit* + 30% of the remaining tour cost.
  • 14 – 07 Days, prior to tour starts:                   Non-refundable deposit* + 50% of the remaining tour cost.
  • Less than 06 days:                                           100% cancellation charges. No refund.
  • After the tour starts:       No refund will be issued for unused/partially used services, in case the guests decides to leave the tour in between.

* Non Refundable Deposit: Actual expenses incurred by RAINBOW JOURNEYS on the client’s/ FTO’s behalf including flight/train tickets, National park safari’s, OR any Non-refundable deposits made by RAINBOW JOURNEYS to the hotels and other suppliers.

Liabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Meeting another culture requires tolerance and the ability to adapt. It is in the nature of all the programs that arrangements and participants have to be flexible. The day to day agenda and ultimate goal of a trip are taken as aims and not as contractual obligations.
  • Rainbow Journeys will always try its very best to solve any problem you face during your trip, but cannot be held responsible for delays or alterations in the programs or for expenses incurred, owing to domestic flight delays/ cancellation, local regulations, sickness, bad weather, strikes/riots, road blocks etc.
  • If there are any additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances or any other reason beyond the control of RAINBOW JOURNEYS on account of hotel stay, transportation, meals etc. extra bill will be raised for the clients.
  • Rainbow Journeys is not responsible for theft or loss of client’s valuables or items of personal property.
  • Rainbow journeys is not responsible under any circumstances in case of death or illness of the client.
  • We reserve the right to alter or cancel any services you have booked and inclusions may vary depending on weather, service provider’s arrangements, or other uncertainties and are subject to change. If we are unable to provide a service comparable to that described in your tour itinerary, we will refund you the difference between the cost of the described service & the cost of the substituted service.

Travel Insurance

  • We do not provide any travel insurance and recommends the clients to take a comprehensive insurance cover prior to commencement of the tour.
  • In case the client is doing a high altitude trek, we strongly recommend that you apply for an insurance that covers mountain rescue and emergency evacuation.

Flights

  • Rainbow Journeys do not offer international flights.
  • We arrange domestic flights and they are included in the price of your journey. We will require all information or documents needed to reserve your flight upon receipt of your booking.

Governing Rule

The tour proposal as set out in the tour itinerary and the clients / FTO’s acceptance by completion of the booking form or via an acceptance email creates a binding agreement between Rainbow Journeys & the Client/FTO.
