Adventure level of the tour

The Indus Valley trek is considered easy to moderate. It’s a great introduction to trekking around the Tibetan Plateau. The hike generally follows the Indus valley, taking in some passes, but missing out the high summits. This trip includes short and accessible day hikes from 4-6 hrs/day, spending the night in comfortable accommodations. The high altitude of the region (between 3500 and 4000 m) requires you to be in a good health.
Better immune system will help your body to get acclimatized well and allow you to enjoy the high altitude. This trek can be completed by anyone with a good fitness level and some determination, however a training plan over a few months is recommended to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. Ladakh is still developing and its tourism infrastructure is not that big. A spirit of adventure and a flexible, open-minded attitude will help you make the most of this tour.
Day Off : In case the guest wan’t to take a day off from the hike, they can rest/spend time at leisure at the Lodge.
